Latitudie iPhone App

I’m testing out the Latitudie iPhone App, which automatically tracks your location every few minutes and sends it to Google Latitude.  This is a feature I’ve been looking for from the iPhone for some time.  The app runs in the background so the data is collected even when your phone is in your pocket (no FourSquare-like “check-in” required).  This video is a visualization of the data from my commute this morning starting in Hayes Valley, traveling along MUNI (our subway here in San Francisco), and arriving at my office near the ballpark.  I don’t have much interest in sharing this data publicly, but I like the idea of logging my travels as a personal diary (nerdy, I know).  Maybe I’ll come up with something interesting to do with the information once I have a larger set of data.
